With deep experience in economic consulting and investment banking, public policy and philanthropy, Negeen brings cross-sector and analytical expertise, combined with passion and creativity, to create social change. Before joining Hirsch & Associates, Negeen was a Researcher with the Stanford Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society, focused on the intersection of strategic philanthropy and human-centered design. She previously served as Executive Director of the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative, a University-wide research center dedicated to improving the science and practice of humanitarian response to conflicts and natural disasters. She was instrumental in building new initiatives that are international models of excellence for best practices in conflict and disaster response. She also served as Vice President in the Public Finance Division of Morgan Stanley, structuring debt and raising capital for large-scale infrastructure projects for local and state agencies, non-profit and educational institutions, creating lasting positive community impact.
She has served on the boards of humanitarian and early childhood education organizations. Negeen holds a B.A. in Political Economy from the University of California, Berkeley and a Master of Public Policy, with a concentration in Energy and Environment, from Harvard Kennedy School.
