Adrienne has passionately devoted her career to social change at the intersection of strategic communications, policy, and philanthropy. With more than 20 years of experience, she is a strategic thinker with the ability to forge alliances among diverse groups and lead high-impact initiatives to improve lives. She partners with our clients to provide health care, political and communications expertise for maximum impact.
Prior to her work with Hirsch & Associates, Adrienne was Vice President of Public Affairs for Planned Parenthood Northern California, one of the largest Planned Parenthood affiliates in the U.S., and ran the organization’s political arm. Adrienne served as Deputy State Director for U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer in her San Francisco office, directing the Senator’s Northern California field operations and serving as statewide liaison on women’s issues. Adrienne began her career doing grassroots organizing in San Diego to protect the environment and working on immigration casework in New York City.
Adrienne has spoken on numerous panels about creating change and been interviewed by news media including the San Francisco Chronicle and ABC7 TV. She holds an M.A. in Sociology from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
